Creative Textiles, Not Traditional Crafts
At Fabulous Threads, we provide a unique creative experience. While we don’t host dressmaking, crochet, or knitting classes, we do offer a warm and inspiring space to explore a variety of textile-based skills. From hand embroidery to eco-printing, our focus is on working sustainably and using materials found in the world around us. Discover the art of mindful creativity with Fabulous Threads.
Gain Skills and Confidence
Perfect for complete beginners! Build your skills and confidence in both hand sewing and machine stitching. Explore the creative process using wool, fabrics, and plants while fostering a deeper connection to the environment. Work with recycled materials, including scraps of paper and fabric, and discover the art of natural dyeing, using foraged fibers to make your creative journey more sustainable and meaningful.

Textile Sewing School
Starting this September, join our Sewing School for Adults!
Learn how to colour match materials for your projects, set up a sewing machine, explore different fabrics, and make the most of your stash. Build confidence and rediscover your playful side.
Pay monthly options
Beginners welcome or maybe you just want to work with other like minded people.
This is not for dress making. The school is set up to offer practical hands on help and to give you the confidence to create textile projects. From Hand sewing skills, to making works of art through the use of textiles.
We explore other artists and look at how this feed into our own practises.
Cost. £24 per session. Paid Monthly. Term Time
Limited places - sewing machines available.
You will be asked to bring some equipment with you. This help to build up your essential equipment.
